The world is going
through tough time ahead. The COVID-19 pandemic is not on the wane. We need to
be united. We need to join our hands. We need to think in straight line. And,
we need to keep off fake news away.
That’s not happening in India.
The sad part is the fact
that there is a recent surge in fake news related to Corona Warriors. Fake news
about doctors being infected and then died has become quite normal.
When a woman in Pune
died, these idiots made a mockery of her death. Her name was Megha Sharma and
she had died because of pneumonia and sepsis. However, a fake news become viral
where she was named as Dr. Megha Vyas and was termed as a Corona Warrior who
died while treating corona patient.
Now, it is the turn of
Manisha Patil.
A post has gone viral
over the social media where it is being claimed that a doctor named Manisha
Patil has died. It is further quoted that she had treated 188 Corona patients
and after that left this world because of corona infection.
You might have also
encountered this post on Twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp or Instagram.
This is also a FAKE
NEWS.
The photograph you have
seen belong to Dr. Richa Rajput. She is a BJP leader from UP. She had shared
this image with hashtag #Blue Twitter just two days back. This image was copied
and shared with the name of Dr. Manisha Patil and pathetic caption.
At the first instance,
this may not seem to be harmful. But, you know, if it continues to be done then
people will stop believing on some true corona warrior.
