The entire nation is outraged over the treatment meted out to the dead body of Dr. Simon Hercules. A famous neurologist who had gotten himself infected by Covid19 while treating an already infected patient had breathed his last on 19th April.



The body of Dr. Simon was not allowed to be buried at Christian cremation grounds. He was a Roman Catholic and hence Church of South India (CSI) didn’t allow the cremation of his body in its burial ground. The reason was said to be COVID – 19 infection and related fear, which is absolutely false.
Finally, the dead body of Dr. Simon was taken to a Hindu burial ground where he was buried with honor.
